Competing with
free courses on YouTube

Escuela Fuego teaches cooking in a twelve-burner classroom in Gros. Its €890 course competed on Google with free videos and €19.99 platforms. The argument existed, but it was told nowhere.

The challenge

An €890 in-person course against a free video

Escuela Fuego could not compete on price and did not want to. But its website never explained why twelve hours with your hands on the flame are worth what they cost, and anyone who visited a course page and did not buy vanished with nobody speaking to them again.

  • No content justifying the price against free alternatives
  • No student testimonials ranking on Google or in AI answers
  • No retargeting: a course page visit left no trace

escuela.fuego A video teaches you to make pil-pil. Nobody tells you down the phone that you are emulsifying too fast. That only happens when someone's hand is on top of yours.

escuela.fuego Marina was an office administrator in Bilbao. She took the 120-hour course in January and by September she was on the line at a restaurant in Gros. That is not marketing: it is her story.

escuela.fuego On Tuesdays we go to the market before class. Choosing the fish is half the recipe, and it is the one thing you cannot learn on a screen.
