See in the IQ chat where your Meta ads run and who they reach

Updated 2026-10-18

In CustomIQ, asking the IQ chat "Which placement works best for my campaign X?" is not available yet. Today type "How is campaign X doing?" to see its results. Once available, you'll see the spend and CTR of each ad in a Meta campaign by placement or by age and gender, free.

What does the IQ chat show in a Meta campaign breakdown?

Once available, the CustomIQ IQ chat will read the last 7 days of the Meta campaign you name and show each ad with its spend and CTR by placement (for example "Instagram · Reels" or "Facebook · Feed") or by age and gender (for example "Women 25-34"). Each ad's top-spending segment is marked. It isn't available yet; today you use "How is campaign X doing?" in the IQ chat.

What if an ad spends almost everything in one place?

If one segment takes more than 70% of an ad's spend, the chat says so and suggests trying different creatives to reach more people.

What if I don't name a campaign?

It shows the Meta campaign that spent the most in the last 7 days and tells you that you can name another one.

Steps

  1. Today, ask about the campaign. Type "How is campaign X doing?" to see its spend, clicks and conversions for the last 7 days.
  2. Once it's available. You'll type "breakdown by placement for campaign X" or "which age and gender does my campaign X reach?".
  3. Read each ad. You'll see each ad with its spend and CTR per segment, such as "Instagram · Reels" or "Women 25-34".
  4. Pick the next step. One button switches to the other breakdown and another opens the task to add different creatives to that campaign.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost?
Nothing. It's a read; adding creatives states its cost before you confirm.
Does it work with Google Ads, TikTok or LinkedIn?
Not yet. For now the breakdown is only for Meta campaigns (Facebook and Instagram).
Why isn't the cost per conversion shown for every segment?
Meta can under-report conversions per placement or age, so spend and CTR come first and the cost per conversion only shows when there are conversions.
