Connect TikTok Ads to CustomIQ

In CustomIQ you connect TikTok Ads from the Connections page: click the TikTok Ads card, sign in to TikTok for Business, choose the ad account and confirm the permissions. You can also open the dialog from the IQ chat with "Connect an account". The TikTok Ads connection is separate from the organic TikTok one.

What is connecting TikTok Ads?
It is authorising CustomIQ to publish campaigns and read results on your TikTok for Business ad account. Not to be confused with the TikTok account for organic content, which is connected separately.
What do I do from the dashboard?
Go to Connections, click the TikTok Ads card, sign in, choose the ad account and confirm. The card shows the status and lets you reconnect.
How do I do it in the chat?
In the IQ chat, click "Connect an account" or use the connection card the agent shows when you ask "Create an ad campaign on TikTok." without the account connected.
What do I need first?
An ad account on TikTok for Business with a payment method set up.

- Open Connections. Go to the Connections page in the dashboard.
- Click TikTok Ads. Sign in to TikTok for Business with the account that manages your ad account.
- Choose the ad account. Select the account CustomIQ will use.
- Confirm. Accept the permissions; the card turns connected.

- Are TikTok Ads and organic TikTok the same connection?
- No. TikTok Ads (advertising) and the TikTok account for publishing organic content are connected separately.
- Can I connect it from the chat?
- Yes, with "Connect an account" in the IQ chat or from the connection card that appears when you request a campaign.
