Tell the IQ chat a campaign is doing badly

Updated 2026-10-17

In CustomIQ, telling the IQ chat "campaign X is doing badly" is not available yet. Today type "How is campaign X doing?" for its results and "What should I do with my ads?" for the actions. Once available, you'll see both for that campaign only, with a button for each lever, free.

From the dashboard:IQ chat

What does the IQ chat do when a campaign is doing badly?

Once available, the CustomIQ IQ chat will read the last 7 days' status and results of the campaign you name and apply the ads review's rules to it alone: changes that made things worse, pending improvements, spend without conversions or a low CTR. It isn't available yet; today you use "How is campaign X doing?" and "What should I do with my ads?" in the IQ chat.

What if it can't find the campaign?

It says it can't find a published campaign with that name and shows the review of all your campaigns.

Steps

  1. Today, ask part by part. Type "How is campaign X doing?" and then "What should I do with my ads?".
  2. Once it's available. You'll type "my campaign X is doing badly" or "what's wrong with my campaign X?".
  3. Read the status and the causes. You'll see that campaign's status and results and what the data points to, most important first.
  4. Pick a lever. Optimize it (Meta and Google), add a creative (Meta) or resume it if paused; each button opens its task.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost?
Nothing. It's a read; every task you open states its cost before you confirm.
What if the data shows no clear cause?
It says so and still gives you the buttons for that campaign's levers.
Can I resume a Google Ads campaign from the chat?
No. Google Ads campaigns are resumed in Google Ads; the chat doesn't offer that button.
