Approve Inbox messages from the IQ chat

Updated 2026-10-16

In CustomIQ, approving Inbox messages from the IQ chat is not available yet. Today you do it from the Inbox. Once available, you'll say "approve the inbox drafts", see what each one sends, pick one, several or all, and they're only sent when you answer "yes".

What is "Approve Inbox messages" in CustomIQ?

It's an IQ chat action that sends what's waiting for your approval in your brand's Inbox: the replies the AI prepares in hybrid mode and the comment DMs with your lead magnet. It isn't in the chat yet; today you do it from the Inbox.

How will it work in the chat?

In the IQ chat you'll type "approve the inbox drafts". The chat lists the brand's pending messages with recipient, channel and text. You pick one, several or all, review the confirmation, and nothing is sent until you answer "yes". Afterwards it tells you which ones went out and, if any failed, why.

What does it check before sending?

That the message belongs to your brand, that the channel can send and that the customer's 24-hour window is still open. If you change the text of a clinic's reply, it goes through the same compliance check as in the Inbox.

Steps

  1. Today, from the Inbox. Open the Inbox, review the draft and click "Approve".
  2. Once it's in the chat. You'll type "approve the inbox drafts" or tap "Approve from the chat" when you ask about pending messages.
  3. Pick which ones. The chat shows each message with its recipient and text, and you answer with the numbers ("1 and 3") or "all".
  4. Review and confirm. You'll see what goes out; with one picked you can change its text, and nothing is sent until you answer "yes".

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost?
Sending messages is free.
Why won't it send some of them?
WhatsApp and Instagram only allow a free-form reply within 24 hours of the customer's last message. Outside that window, on WhatsApp you can send them an approved template.
Does it send comment DMs too?
Yes. The DM with your lead magnet goes out exactly as the Inbox builds it, with the current link.
