Roles and permissions (admin, creator and viewer)

Updated 2026-09-25

CustomIQ has three roles. Admin and creator have full access to the IQ chat, campaigns, the content studio and settings. Viewer is read-only: it sees Home, Analytics, Calendar, the image and video generators and Connections, but not the IQ chat or Campaigns. Your role is set by the account administrator.

Which roles exist in CustomIQ?

Three: admin, creator and viewer. Admin and creator have full access: IQ chat, campaigns, content studio, audiences, analytics and settings. Viewer is a read-only role meant for clients or colleagues who only need to see results.

What changes in the chat?

The IQ chat is available to admin and creator. A viewer does not see it: they cannot ask for plans or launch campaigns, only check what others have created.

What do I do from the dashboard?

A viewer sees Home, Analytics, Calendar, the image and video generators and Connections. Admin and creator also see Campaigns, Segments, Products, Talents, Knowledge base, Inbox, Agents, Brand profiles, the studio (landings, blogs, emails, documents) and the general and billing settings.

Your own access details are in My account.

What do I need first?

The role is assigned by the account administrator. If you do not see a section you expected, check your role with them or write to support from the chat itself.

Steps

  1. Identify your role. If you do not see the IQ chat or Campaigns in the menu, your role is viewer (read-only).
  2. Ask for the role you need. The account administrator assigns admin, creator or viewer; ask them or write to support from the chat.
  3. Review your access. In My account you see your own access details; in Home, the account summary.
