Credits and billing
Updated 2026-10-17
CustomIQ runs on credits that are consumed when it generates things (researching a segment, creating images or videos, building a landing). Every action shows its cost before running and the balance is always at the top right. In Billing and credits, under Settings, you change plan, buy credits, manage your cards and download your invoices.

What are CustomIQ credits?
They are the internal currency that pays for every generation: researching a segment, creating images or videos, writing a landing or an email, analysing a campaign. 100 credits equal 1 unit of your billing currency (€1 in Europe, $1 elsewhere). On sign-up you receive welcome credits to create your first plan for free.
How do I see the cost in the chat?
Every IQ chat action shows its credit cost before running: the plan shows its total cost before you approve it, and creatives are only produced after you approve the campaign. Publishing costs nothing. The first setup of some items, such as your landing, is marked "no extra cost, first time only".
What do I do from the dashboard?
At the top of Billing and credits the balance card shows your credits split by where they come from (carried over from last month, from your plan, purchased), when each group expires, and what you have spent this month. Below it there are four tabs:
- Plan: the plan you are on, with the plan credits used this cycle, the brands you use against those included and the next renewal; changing plan; Manage in Stripe for the card the plan is charged to or to cancel it; and the free trial for companies.
- Buy credits: one-time packs of 1,000, 2,500, 5,000 or 10,000 credits, charged to the card you choose without leaving the page.
- Payment methods: your saved cards and the billing address (and tax ID) that appears on your invoices.
- History: every credit movement (purchases, renewals and agent actions) and, under Invoices, each payment as a downloadable PDF.
Which plans are there?
Three plans, priced excluding tax in your country's currency and paid monthly or yearly:
- Individual: €97 or $97 per month, 1 brand and 10,000 credits per month. Ads run by CustomIQ carry a fee of 5% of the monthly ad budget, paid from your credits.
- Small Agency: €297 or $297 per month, 5 brands, 30,000 credits per month and 3 users. No ads fee.
- Agency: €497 or $497 per month, 15 brands, 60,000 credits per month and unlimited users. No ads fee.
The agency plans take extra brands: €49 or $49 per month per brand on Small Agency and €39 or $39 on Agency.
Plan credits you don't use in a month carry over for one more month, then expire. The credits that expire first are always spent first; credits you top up separately never expire and are spent last.
How does the free trial work?
Companies can try any plan for 14 days without a card, with 2,000 credits and up to 3 brands. In the Plan tab of Billing and credits press Request the trial and enter the legal company name, the tax ID (VAT number in the EU or UK, EIN in the US, CIF, NIF or NIE in Spain), the website, a phone number and an email on the website's domain; Gmail, Outlook and other free mailboxes are not accepted. A code arrives at that email and, once you confirm it, we check the details and our team reviews every request, usually within 24 hours. The trial starts when we approve it, and we email you either way. Each account and each company (tax ID and website) can have only one trial, and it is not available to accounts that have or had a plan. We email you three days before it ends; when it ends, the trial credits expire and your brands stay until you choose a plan.
What do I need first?
To buy credits, a card and a billing address, both added in the Payment methods tab; a plan is paid in Stripe's checkout. The balance is per user, not per brand: if you manage several brands, they all draw from the same wallet.
What does it cost?
Indicative: AI images from about 50 credits, videos from about 1,500 credits, a blog hosted on CustomIQ 500 credits at creation, reserving the goal of each plan campaign about 50 credits. The exact amount always appears before you confirm. Ads are paid separately, on the ad platform; on the Individual plan, launching a paid campaign also costs 5% of its monthly budget in credits; Small Agency and Agency have no fee.
Steps
- Check your balance. The balance is always at the top right. In Billing and credits the balance card shows what expires when and what you spent this month.
- Choose or change plan. In the Plan tab choose Individual, Small Agency or Agency, monthly or yearly. Upgrades apply once confirmed; downgrades at renewal.
- Top up credits. In the Buy credits tab pick a pack and the card to charge, then press Buy; the credits are added instantly.
- Check your invoices. In the History tab see every credit movement, and switch to Invoices to download each one as a PDF.
