How to use the CustomIQ AI strategist chat (guided processes, Back and Cancel)

This is the IQ chat, your marketing strategist. You ask in your own words, and it guides you, shows you the cost and waits for your go-ahead. Your conversations are on the left. To start something new, click New conversation. An empty chat opens.

0:21Start a conversation

The text box is at the bottom. Type what you need, the way you'd ask someone on your team. And if you're not sure where to start, the Actions button shows everything the chat can do, grouped.

0:34A guided process

Let's ask for something specific: adding an image creative to a Meta campaign that's already running. The chat starts a guided process. It only asks for what it's missing, one step at a time, and shows numbered options. Here, your active campaigns. Below it you get buttons for the actions available right now: start over or cancel. Clicking one sends that command for you.

We answer with the campaign's name.

1:08Go back and cancel

The chat moves on to the next question, and a new button shows up: Back. If you made a mistake, click Back. You can also just type it. It returns to the previous question and keeps everything else. It also understands phrases like "change the campaign" or "I picked the wrong product". We answer it again: an image. And if you don't want to continue, click Cancel.

Since you'd already answered something, the chat asks you to confirm before discarding it. We say yes. Nothing was generated and nothing was charged.

1:47New task and cards

Now let's ask something different, in the same conversation. Notice the New task line. It marks that the previous task is finished, so the chat doesn't mix what you discussed before with the new request. And the chat answers with a card: your month at a glance, with your key numbers and highlights. That's the basics: ask in your own words, follow the steps, use Back or Cancel when you need to, and nothing gets generated without your confirmation.
