Approve the budget and deploy a Google Ads campaign
Updated 2026-10-12
In CustomIQ you deploy a Google Ads campaign from the Campaigns page: with keywords and ads approved, review the cost preview, approve the budget and click deploy. CustomIQ creates the campaign, ad groups, keywords and ads in your Google Ads account and marks it active.
Video tutorial
What is deploying a Google Ads campaign?
It is actually creating it in your Google Ads account with the approved ad groups, keywords and ads. Until then it only exists in CustomIQ.
What do I do from the dashboard?
In Campaigns the campaign detail has five steps: Strategy, Keywords, Budget, Creatives and Launch. With the keywords approved, approve the budget in its step; with the creatives generated, the Launch step checks the connected account and the budget and shows the deploy button with the amount to confirm. The campaign becomes active and CustomIQ starts syncing results in the live panel.
Can I deploy from the chat?
The chat takes you to the campaign when it is ready, but the budget is approved and the deployment launched on the Campaigns page.
What do I need first?
A valid Google Ads connection in Connections with a payment method set on Google.
Where is it in the dashboard?
Steps
- Approve keywords and ads. Finish the review in the campaign detail.
- Review the cost preview. Check the estimated cost with the proposed budget.
- Approve the budget. Confirm the monthly budget.
- Deploy. Click deploy; the campaign is created in Google Ads and becomes active.
Frequently asked questions
- Who charges me for clicks?
- Google, through your Google Ads account's payment method. CustomIQ charges credits only for generating and analysing.
- Can I add negatives after deploying?
- Yes; from the campaign detail you add negative keywords at any time.
- Why does it not appear in Google Ads?
- Check that you deployed and that the Google Ads connection is still valid in Connections.
- How do I get to the step that is waiting?
- Click the campaign's status label in Campaigns: it opens the detail on that step. Locked steps show the reason on hover.
