Optimization proposals: accept or discard changes
Updated 2026-10-09
In CustomIQ the Optimization proposals tab gathers, in one list, every change the agent proposes for your active Meta and Google campaigns: each proposal explains its reason and you apply or discard it with one click. You only pay when you request an analysis; viewing and applying proposals costs no credits.

What is the Optimization proposals tab?
It is the unified list of proposed changes for your active campaigns: budget adjustments, pausing ads that underperform, new negative keywords and the like. They used to be scattered campaign by campaign; now you decide on all of them from Optimization proposals.
What do I do from the dashboard?
Decide. Each proposal carries the channel, the campaign and the reason. One click applies it (CustomIQ executes the change on Meta or Google) or discards it. If you want more context, "Open campaign" takes you to the detail in Campaigns. You can also discard them all at once.
How do I request new proposals in the chat?
Type "Optimize my ad campaign on Meta." (or "…on Google.") in the IQ chat: the agent analyses the campaign, shows the analysis cost before you confirm and leaves the proposals here.
What does it cost?
Applying or discarding consumes no credits. The optimization analysis does, and the amount is shown before you confirm it (on Google the analysis costs 1.5 times the Meta price).
Where is it in the dashboard?
Steps
- Open Optimization proposals. Go to Campaigns and click the Optimization proposals tab.
- Read the proposal. Each card names the campaign, the channel, the proposed change and its reason.
- Apply or discard. Click apply to execute the change on the campaign, or discard if you do not want it.
- Open the campaign if unsure. The Open campaign link takes you to the detail to review metrics before deciding.
Frequently asked questions
- Where do proposals come from?
- From optimization analyses (requested in the chat or generated automatically) on active Meta and Google campaigns.
- Does applying a proposal cost credits?
- No. Viewing, applying or discarding proposals is free; requesting the analysis is what consumes credits.
- What if there are no proposals?
- The tab shows "Nothing to decide right now"; when the agent finds something relevant, it appears here.
