In CustomIQ, adding a new video to a TikTok campaign that is already published from the IQ chat is not available yet. Today you can review, change and add videos to a TikTok campaign before publishing it with "Review creatives", or republish it from its detail in Campaigns, which creates a new campaign.
What is adding a video to a published TikTok campaign?
It is an IQ chat action that will add a new video ad to a TikTok campaign that is already published, without creating another campaign and without changing its budget. It is not available yet. Your campaigns are in Campaigns.
What can I do today?
Before publishing a TikTok campaign, type "Review creatives" in the IQ chat to change the text of its videos, remove one or add another. Once it is published, today you can only republish it from its detail in Campaigns, and that creates a new campaign on TikTok.
How will I ask for it in the chat when it is available?
By typing "Add a video to my TikTok campaign.". The chat will not ask for a product, an ad set or a format: it uses the campaign's product and its single ad group. It will show you the proposal and you can ask for another angle in your own words. It only generates the video when you say "generate", and only publishes it once you have seen it and say "publish".

A TikTok campaign published from CustomIQ and the TikTok Ads account connected.
What does it cost?
The proposal is free. Generating the video uses credits, like a video for a new campaign. Publishing it has no cost and does not change the campaign's budget.
Steps
- Before publishing. Today type "Review creatives" in the IQ chat to change or add videos on a draft TikTok campaign.
- When it is available. You will type "Add a video to my TikTok campaign." and pick the published campaign.
- Review the proposal. The chat will show the angle, the hook, the ad text and what the video will show; it only generates it when you say "generate".
- Accept and publish. You will see the video in the card and say "publish"; it goes in as a new ad in the same ad group.
Frequently asked questions
- Will the daily spend go up?
- No. The new ad goes into the ad group the campaign already has and shares its budget.
- Can I add an ad for another product?
- Not in the same campaign. A TikTok campaign has a single ad group, with its audience and its budget; another product needs a campaign of its own.
- Can I add an image?
- No. CustomIQ's TikTok ads are video.
- How do I stop only that ad?
- In TikTok Ads Manager. From the IQ chat you pause the whole campaign.
