Review a campaign's creatives in the chat
Updated 2026-10-17
In CustomIQ type "I want to review the creatives of my campaign." in the IQ chat: you choose the campaign and the chat shows the proposed creatives for you to adjust. The ones you add are shown first and generated only when you confirm (with a cost); the rest are generated when you approve the campaign.

In the chat: type this phrase in the IQ chat
I want to review the creatives of my campaign.
What is reviewing creatives in CustomIQ?
It is seeing, before they are generated, the creatives the IQ chat proposes for a campaign (angle, format, product) and adjusting them to your taste. You can ask for changes or add a new creative; what you add is shown first and only generated when you confirm.
How do I do it in the chat?
Type "I want to review the creatives of my campaign." in the IQ chat and choose the campaign. The chat shows the proposals; reply with what you want to change ("make the second one shorter", "add a video", "add an image of another service") and confirm when you are happy. You can also ask for the change when you open it: "change the ad text of the campaign “X”: more urgent" opens that campaign with the texts already rewritten. You can say "back" or "cancel" at any time.
Can I add a creative for another product?
Yes, on Meta campaigns. Ask for the creative naming the product or service, or just say "for another service" and the chat shows your list to choose from. The copy, what the image or video shows and the ad's link are for that product. Because the campaign is not published yet, the creative goes into the same ad set as the rest, on its audience; if that product needs another audience, a campaign of its own will measure it better. On TikTok every creative advertises the campaign's product; for another product, create a campaign of its own.
Can I review the creatives of a TikTok campaign?
Yes, as long as the TikTok campaign is not deployed. Type "I want to review the creatives of my TikTok campaign.": you can change the ad text, remove or restore a creative and add another one. On TikTok every creative is a video, so what you add is proposed as a video; you see it on the card first and it is generated when you say "generate". Adding creatives to a TikTok campaign that is already published is not available yet.
What do I do from the dashboard?
In Campaigns open the campaign and review the assets already generated: each can be approved, edited, regenerated with new instructions or rejected. Nothing is published without your approval.
What do I need first?
A campaign created by the chat with proposed or generated creatives. Proposals exist once research finishes: until then the campaign shows as "Researching", not "Ready".
What does it cost?
Reviewing and asking for changes costs nothing. An added creative is generated when you confirm it, with a cost; the rest are generated when the campaign is approved, at the cost shown beforehand.
Steps
- Ask for the review. Type "I want to review the creatives of my campaign." in the IQ chat.
- Choose the campaign. Select the campaign from the list.
- Adjust the proposals. Ask for changes in your own words (another angle or format) or add a new creative, also for another product or service.
- Confirm what you added. Creatives you add are generated on confirmation and have a cost; the others, when the campaign is approved.
Frequently asked questions
- When are the creatives generated?
- The original proposals are generated when the campaign is approved; a creative added in the review is generated when you confirm it.
- Can I review creatives from the dashboard?
- Yes. In Campaigns open the campaign and approve, edit, regenerate or reject every generated asset.
- How is it different from "Add creative"?
- Reviewing creatives adjusts a campaign's proposals before generating them; adding a creative adds pieces to a campaign already published.
- Does it work with retargeting campaigns?
- Yes, like any campaign: you change, remove or add creatives, and the ones you add are written for an audience that already knows you.
- Can I add a creative for another product or service?
- Yes, on Meta campaigns. Say "add an image of [product]" or "I want a creative for another service" and the chat asks which one. Its copy, what it shows and the ad's link are for that product, and it runs in the same ad set as the rest of the campaign. A creative already proposed does not change product: add a new one and remove the old one.
- Can I ask for the change in the same message that names the campaign?
- Yes. "Change the ad text of the campaign “X”: more urgent" opens that campaign and applies the change right away: you see the rewritten texts in the list. Rewriting text generates no images or videos; anything you add is only generated when you confirm it.
- Do I have to repeat the campaign name in every message?
- No. After you open a campaign, "I don't like them, add an image" applies to that same campaign; if you name another campaign, the chat asks which one.
- Does it work with TikTok campaigns?
- Yes, with the ones you have not deployed yet: you change the ad text, remove or restore creatives and add videos, which you see first and which are generated when you say "generate" (with a cost). On TikTok every creative is a video. Adding creatives to a TikTok campaign that is already published is not available yet.
