Publish, schedule or edit an article from the IQ chat

In CustomIQ type "Publish my latest article." or "Schedule my latest article for Monday at 9." in the IQ chat. It shows a free confirmation card with the article, where it is published and when, with the time zone. Nothing is published or changed until you answer "yes". Publishing and scheduling are free.

What is "Publish or edit an article" in CustomIQ?

It is an IQ chat action that works on one of your blog articles that is already written: publish it now, schedule it for a day and time, move its date, change its title or meta description, or rewrite part of the text. You can also do it from the article itself in Blogs.

How do I do it in the chat?

Type "Publish my latest article." or "Schedule my latest article for Monday at 9." in the IQ chat. The chat opens the guided process "Publish or edit an article" with four steps: Article, What to do, Details and Confirm. Nothing is published or changed until you confirm.

What does the confirmation card show?

A FREE card titled "You're about to publish this article now" or "You're about to schedule this article", with three lines: ARTICLE, WHERE (for example "CustomIQ blog" and your blog domain) and WHEN (the date and time with the time zone, for example "Monday, October 19 at 09:00"). Answer "yes" or "no". Publishing and scheduling cost nothing.

What happens with text changes?

Before changing the text, the chat makes a preview without touching the article and shows you the paragraphs before and after. It applies it only if you answer "yes" again and nobody edited the article in the meantime. If the article is published, the change shows on your site in that same article, without creating another one.

  1. Ask for it. Type "Publish my latest article." or "Schedule my latest article for Monday at 9." in the IQ chat.
  2. Article and what to do. The chat takes the article you name, or shows the brand's articles, and what you want to do with it.
  3. Choose where. If your brand has more than one site or blog, the chat always asks where to publish it.
  4. Confirm. The FREE card shows the article, where and when; nothing is published or changed until you answer "yes".

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost?
Publishing, scheduling and changing the title or description are free. The preview of a text change costs a few credits.
Can the same article be published twice?
No. If it is already published, the chat offers to edit it; if it is scheduled, it only moves the date of that same article.
How do I edit an article's text?
Tell it what to change; the chat shows you before and after and only applies it when you answer "yes" again.
What about an article from the monthly plan?
If you haven't approved it yet, approve it in the plan; after that the chat can move its date.
Can I still do it from Blogs?
Yes. Open the article in Blogs to publish it on WordPress or on your CustomIQ blog, pick the date or edit it.
