In CustomIQ generated content is scheduled and published from the dashboard: in Posts you review each piece and in Calendar you choose date and time; the post goes out through the Instagram, TikTok or LinkedIn account connected in Connections. The IQ chat automatically schedules the pieces of a plan and those derived from already published articles.

How is content published in CustomIQ?
Every generated piece (from the chat or the generators) is stored in Posts and scheduled in Calendar. At the chosen time CustomIQ publishes it through the connected account.
What do I do from the dashboard?
In Posts you review each piece's text, format and status. In Calendar you place it on a day and time, move it if you change your mind or publish it right away. Destination accounts are managed in Connections.
What does the chat do for me?
When the IQ chat runs a plan, it schedules its pieces on the calendar according to the strategy. Images, carousels and videos generated from an article are scheduled on their own once the article is published, so the link works.
What do I need first?
The Instagram, TikTok or LinkedIn account connected and valid in Connections. If a connection expires, publishing fails until you reconnect it.
Can I publish to YouTube?
Yes, videos only. Vertical videos (the format CustomIQ generates) go out as YouTube Shorts; longer horizontal videos you upload yourself publish as regular videos. Images and carousels never go to YouTube. Connect your channel in Connections and choose there whether your content is made for kids — CustomIQ will not schedule to YouTube until you do. AI-generated videos are always labelled as altered or synthetic content. While Google is still reviewing the CustomIQ app, YouTube keeps uploads private (only you can see them) whatever visibility you pick; once the review passes they publish with your chosen visibility. Cross-posting a video to YouTube is opt-in: tick it on the piece. YouTube has no DMs, so posts never promise "comment and I'll message you".
What does it cost?
Scheduling and publishing are free; only generating the piece is charged.
Steps
- Review the piece. In Posts open the image, video or carousel and check text and format.
- Pick date and time. In Calendar place the piece on the day and time you want.
- Check the account. The post uses the account connected in Connections; if it expired, reconnect it.
- Let it publish. At the scheduled time CustomIQ publishes and reflects the status in Posts.
Frequently asked questions
- Do I need to approve every piece before publishing?
- Only when it is fronted by a paid talent owned by someone else; everything else is approved automatically.
- Why is my TikTok post still "pending"?
- TikTok reports status with a delay; the status refreshes when assets are synced, not instantly.
- Can I publish right away without scheduling?
- Yes. From the piece you can publish now instead of choosing a date.
