Brand profiles and the brand guide
Updated 2026-10-19
In CustomIQ every brand has a profile with its name, website, logo, colours and a written Brand and Design Guide (essence, voice and tone, visual identity, value propositions, audience, do and don't). The initial assistant creates it from your website; you edit it in Brand profiles and every agent uses it when generating content.

What is a brand profile in CustomIQ?
It is a brand's record: name, website, logo, colours, sector and a written Brand and Design Guide. The guide covers the brand's essence, voice and tone, visual identity, value propositions, audience and positioning, and a do/don't list. It is the document every CustomIQ agent reads before generating any piece.
How is it created in the chat?
The initial assistant creates the first brand profile from what you answer in the Brand step: if you paste your website, CustomIQ analyses it and writes the guide automatically; if you choose "Create one for me", the guide is generated from your description. Later, in the chat, the "Review your setup" card lets you correct the brand before the strategy is generated.
What do I do from the dashboard?
In Brand profiles you review and edit each brand: basic data, logo, colours and the full text of the brand and design guide. The more precise the guide, the more faithful to your brand the generated content will be.
What do I need first?
Having completed the initial assistant. It helps to have the logo in good resolution and, if it exists, your brand manual to copy tone and colours into the guide.
What does it cost?
Editing the brand profile does not consume credits.
Steps
- Open Brand profiles. Go to Brand profiles and choose the brand you want to review.
- Review the basics. Check name, website, logo and colours; fix anything wrong.
- Edit the brand guide. Adjust the brand and design guide (essence, voice and tone, visual identity, value propositions, do and don't).
- Save. Save the changes; the next content generations will use the updated guide.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I have several brands in the same account?
- Yes. Each brand has its own profile and connections; the chat asks which one to work with when there are several.
- Which agents use the brand guide?
- All the ones that generate content: ads, images, videos, landings, blog, emails and organic posts.
- What if my website is an app with no text?
- Automatic extraction gets less data; complete the guide by hand in Brand profiles for better results.
