Webinar: capture leads on autopilot with landings, sequences, alerts and WhatsApp
Updated 2026-10-31
Capture leads on autopilot is a free CustomIQ webinar for new users. In under 20 minutes you learn to publish a landing with a lead form, find every lead in Contacts, nurture them with an email sequence and stage workflows, get an alert for each new lead, and let the AI draft your WhatsApp replies for approval.
Video tutorial
What will you learn in this webinar?
How to build the whole path a lead follows in CustomIQ, from the first visit to your first reply: a landing captures the lead, its segment stores it, a sequence follows up, an alert tells your team and you answer on WhatsApp. It is pre-recorded, for new users, and mixes short explanations with six real product demos. Nothing reaches a lead until you launch a sequence or approve a reply.
Everything hangs on a segment: the landing's form fills it, sequences write to it, and its alerts decide who hears about each lead.
How do you build a landing that captures leads?
Two ways. Ask the IQ chat in plain words: it asks for the audience and images and shows a summary with the maximum cost, and nothing is created or charged until you confirm. Or open the Landing generator in Studio, choose the segment, brand profile and number of new images, and press Generate. The draft appears in Landings, where you edit it in your own words and publish it on your CustomIQ address or your connected WordPress. Its form sends every lead to the landing's segment. Full guide: Create a landing page.
Where do your leads appear?
In Segments, on the Contacts tab: every lead and customer from landings, lead forms, inbox conversations and imports. Filter by segment, landing page, source or date, open a profile and download a CSV. Importing and exporting spend no credits. Full guide: Contacts and leads.
How do you nurture leads with a sequence?
In the IQ chat ask for a sequence, name the segment (or a part of it, such as qualified leads) and describe the emails and the days between them. You get a proposal; when you approve it, the emails are written in your brand voice (charged to your credits) and saved as a draft in Sequences. Review the audience and each email, and press Approve and launch when you are ready. Full guide: Emails and email sequences.
How do stage workflows follow up for you?
Each lead stage (new, qualified, sales qualified, unqualified) can have its own workflow in Sequences. A lead joins the workflow of its stage automatically and leaves it when the stage changes. The agent writes each message around the service the lead came for and alternates segment articles with sales messages until the lead replies, unsubscribes or changes stage. A workflow in draft enrolls nobody until you review and launch it. Full guide: Lead-stage workflows.
How do you get an alert for every new lead?
In Segments edit the segment and, under New lead alerts, turn on email alerts and add one or more recipients; each segment can notify different people. Alerts fire for leads from a landing, a Meta form or the inbox, never for imports, and spend no credits. Test it by filling in a landing's form yourself. Full guide: Lead alerts per segment.
How do you answer leads on WhatsApp from the dashboard?
Open WhatsApp Assistant and pick the brand. In Manual you answer every message yourself. In Hybrid the AI drafts every reply from your approved Knowledge Base facts, and you approve, edit or discard each draft in the Inbox. Auto is not available yet, and some sectors, such as health, always require approval. You need a connected WhatsApp Business number first. Full guide: WhatsApp Assistant.
What should you do next?
Publish your landing, switch on alerts for its segment and launch your sequence once you have reviewed it. To let an agent talk to a segment's leads by email, read Channel agents and automatic workflows.
Steps
- Build your landing. Ask the IQ chat or use the Landing generator; review, edit and publish the page with its lead form.
- Find your leads. Open the Contacts tab in Segments to see leads from landings, forms, inbox and imports.
- Nurture with a sequence. Ask the IQ chat for a sequence, approve the proposal, review the draft and press Approve and launch.
- Follow up per stage. Each lead stage can have its own workflow; leads join and leave it as their stage changes.
- Get an alert per lead. Edit the segment, turn on New lead alerts, add the recipients and send yourself a test lead.
- Answer on WhatsApp. In WhatsApp Assistant choose Hybrid so the AI drafts each reply and you approve it in the Inbox.
Frequently asked questions
- Will a sequence email my leads without my approval?
- No. It is saved as a draft in Sequences and nothing is sent until you press Approve and launch.
- Can the AI answer WhatsApp messages on its own?
- Not yet. Auto is not available; in Hybrid every drafted reply waits for your approval.
- What costs credits in this setup?
- Generating a landing and writing a sequence's emails use credits, shown before you confirm. Contacts and lead alerts are free.
- What if a segment has no alert recipients?
- Leads are still saved in CustomIQ, but nobody receives the alert email.
