In CustomIQ you create email campaigns from the dashboard: the Email generator produces a campaign with your brand, variants and templates; in Emails you send a test and schedule a normal or progressive send; and in Sequences you build automatic chains of several emails.

What are emails and sequences in CustomIQ?
Emails are campaigns with your brand and your offer, with variants and templates; sequences are automatic chains of several emails sent in steps. They are managed in Emails and Sequences, and the IQ chat answers questions about them at any moment.
What do I do from the dashboard?
Open the Email generator to create a campaign. In Emails you review the variants, send a test, pick a template and schedule a normal or progressive send. In Sequences you chain several emails with waits between them.
What do I need first?
A verified email sender in Connections and a segment with contacts.
What does it cost?
Emails are deducted from your credits when produced; the amount is shown before you confirm.
How do I follow the goal from Campaigns?
If the email belongs to a goal, its detail in Campaigns lists the goal's email campaigns with their status ("Sent" instead of "Published"), date and recipients, and shows the email strategy they were written from. A failed send is resent from Emails; the detail takes you there. Sequences do not belong to a goal and do not appear in the detail.
Steps
- Open the Email generator. In the dashboard open the Email generator and describe the campaign and its offer.
- Pick the segment. Choose the segment whose contacts will receive the campaign.
- Add the discount. Provide a code or an image of the discount if you want to include it.
- Review in Emails. The produced emails appear in Emails with their variants; send a test before scheduling.
- Schedule or chain. Schedule the send from Emails or build an automatic chain in Sequences.

- Can I edit an email before it is sent?
- Yes. In Emails you review each variant, change the template and send a test before scheduling it.
- What is a progressive send?
- A staggered send to your list that protects sender reputation; you choose it when scheduling the campaign.
- Who receives the emails?
- The contacts of the chosen segment, from the sender verified in Connections.
- What do I do if a goal's email shows as failed?
- The goal's detail in Campaigns shows the failure and takes you to Emails, where it is resent. The detail does not resend emails itself.
