Refresh a campaign's research
Updated 2026-10-05
In CustomIQ type "Refresh the research for my campaign." in the IQ chat: you choose the Meta campaign, confirm and the chat researches your sector's ad trends again so the next creatives start from recent data. It is charged like a campaign creation, only after you confirm.
What is refreshing the research in CustomIQ?
Every Meta campaign is born with research on your sector's ad trends (which angles, formats and messages work). Over time that research ages; refreshing it brings it up to date so the next creatives and optimizations start from recent data.
How do I ask for it in the chat?
Type "Refresh the research for my campaign." in the IQ chat. The chat shows your Meta campaigns, you choose one, see the cost and confirm. The refresh runs in the background and the chat tells you when it is done. You can say "back" or "cancel" at any time before confirming.
What do I do from the dashboard?
There is no refresh-research button in the dashboard; it is requested in the chat. The status of each campaign, including the date of its research, is in Campaigns.
What do I need first?
A Meta campaign created in CustomIQ. If you have none, the chat tells you.
What does it cost?
It is charged like a campaign creation, and only after you confirm. The exact amount appears in the chat before confirming.
