The organic goal detail in Campaigns

Updated 2026-10-12

In CustomIQ every organic goal on the Campaigns page opens a detail with tabs: Summary, Content, Strategy, Hashtags (Instagram and TikTok only) and Linked. You see progress towards your targets, which pieces are scheduled, published, pending approval or failed, and from the same detail you can approve, republish, pause, resume, retry the strategy or duplicate the goal.

What is the organic goal detail?

It is the detail that opens when you click an organic goal in Campaigns: Instagram, TikTok, landing page, email or Content Marketing. It used to list hashtags only; now it shows progress towards the targets, the goal's content and the actions you need.

The header carries a status label and, below it, a banner that explains what is happening and what to do next. The goal's targets appear as tiles with the measured value against the target; if an indicator is not measured for organic yet, it shows "—", not a zero.

Which tabs does it have?

  • Summary: progress bars per target, what is being published (scheduled, published, pending approval, failed), the next piece and the current week with a link to Calendar.
  • Content: every piece of the goal with its status, date and, if it failed, the reason the platform gave. Approve and republish from here.
  • Strategy: the content theme (Instagram and TikTok) or the channel strategy (landing, email, blog), with its confidence and keywords. If it failed, the error and "Retry".
  • Hashtags: Instagram and TikTok only. Selection logic, niche, trending and general sets, and the final list with "Copy".
  • Linked: where the content lives (Calendar, Studio, Landings, Emails, Blogs, Analytics).

What does each status mean?

  • Preparing strategy: the agent is studying your brand and segment. Content, Strategy and Hashtags are locked until it finishes.
  • Active · N to approve / N scheduled / N pieces failed: the label says the most urgent thing first.
  • Active · no content yet: the strategy is ready but there are no pieces yet.
  • Paused: nothing is prepared or published; what is published stays.
  • Failed: the strategy could not be prepared. Retry from Strategy.
  • No automatic content: the agent does not feed that channel.

What can I do from the dashboard or the chat?

Approve a pending piece, republish a failed one (free), pause or resume the goal, retry the strategy (free), edit the goal or duplicate it. All of them ask for confirmation before running and notify you when done.

If you prefer the chat, in the IQ chat you can ask "Pause the Instagram goal" or ask about a goal's status.

What does the detail not do?

It does not resend failed emails (that is done from Emails), it does not show the link to the post on Instagram or TikTok, and it does not list email sequences, which do not belong to a goal.

Steps

  1. Open the goal. In Campaigns click the name or the status label of an organic goal. Its detail opens.
  2. Read the status. The label says what is going on ("Preparing strategy", "Active · 2 to approve", "Paused", "Failed") and the banner explains the next step.
  3. Review the content. Under Content filter by status. Approve pending pieces or republish the ones that failed, for free.
  4. Check the strategy. Under Strategy you see the channel's theme or strategy and its confidence. If it failed, the error and "Retry".
  5. Act from the menu. With "···" you edit, pause or resume, open analytics or duplicate the goal. Every action asks for confirmation.

Frequently asked questions

What does "Preparing strategy" mean?
The agent is studying your brand and segment to decide what to publish. It usually takes a few minutes; meanwhile Content and Strategy are locked and the detail refreshes on its own.
Why does it say "Failed" when there are no pieces?
Because the strategy could not be prepared. Without a strategy the agent generates no content. Open Strategy, read the reason and click "Retry"; it is free.
Does republishing a failed piece cost credits?
No. The piece is already generated; it is only queued again for the connected account to publish.
What happens to scheduled pieces if I pause the goal?
They wait. Nothing is published while it is paused and what is already published stays. On resume, pieces whose date has passed are rescheduled.
Why does a failed email have no retry button?
Because resending is done from Emails. The detail shows the failure and takes you there.
Why does a goal say "No automatic content"?
Its channel is not one the agent feeds. You can duplicate it as Instagram, create pieces by hand in the Studio or pause it.
