Webinar: credits, billing and your monthly results

Updated 2026-10-31

The CustomIQ webinar "Credits, billing and your monthly results" explains what credits pay for and what your ad platform bills, how to check your balance and top up, where to read your month (Daily summary, the IQ chat and Analytics) and how to act on campaign proposals and an account review.

Video tutorial

What does the webinar cover?

Three questions every new CustomIQ user asks: what am I paying for, where do I see my results, and what do I do next. The webinar answers them with five short demos: billing, the month's results, Analytics, following a campaign, and an account review from the chat.

The idea behind it: your credits pay for what CustomIQ creates, your campaigns and content go out, the results come back, and you decide what changes. The agent proposes; nothing is applied on its own.

What am I paying for?

Two separate things:

  • Credits pay for everything CustomIQ generates, such as research, images, videos or landings. Every action shows its cost before it runs, and publishing costs nothing.
  • Your ad budget is billed by Meta, Google, TikTok or LinkedIn directly in your ad account, not by CustomIQ.

On the Individual plan, launching a paid campaign also costs 5% of its monthly ad budget, paid in credits. The Small Agency and Agency plans have no ads fee.

Where do I check my balance and top up?

In Billing and credits, under Settings. The balance card shows where your credits come from, when each group expires and what you spent this month. The tabs let you change plan, buy credit packs, keep your cards and billing address, and see every movement in History, with each invoice as a PDF.

Three things to remember:

  • Plan credits you don't use carry over one more month, then expire.
  • Credits you buy never expire, and they are spent last.
  • If a step needs more credits than you have, the IQ chat shows the shortfall and waits. Top up and it continues from the same step; nothing is charged until you confirm.

How do I read my month in the dashboard and the chat?

Two quick reads, no digging through reports:

  • The Daily summary, a tab in Campaigns, checks your active campaigns every day and tells you what changed and what to do. Its analysis is only charged when it finds something worth acting on.
  • In the IQ chat, ask "How's my month?". You get the period, a headline, your key numbers and the main findings. The numbers come from your connected accounts, and asking is free.

Where do I see the full picture?

In Analytics. Choose the period and the segment, and you get:

  • Overview: views, interactions, content published and reach, each compared with the previous period, plus what stands out.
  • Content: what works, with each platform and format measured against its own average.
  • Funnel: from contacts to qualified leads to customers, and the revenue generated with the lead values you set on each segment. With Google Analytics connected, sessions, users and conversions on your landings.
  • SEO: clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position from Search Console, and the searches that already bring you visitors.

How do I follow a campaign and its proposals?

In Campaigns, open a campaign with Details to see whether it is live, its ad sets and ads, and their spend and results as the platform reports them. Optimize campaign asks the agent to analyse the real results and propose changes; it uses credits and shows the cost before starting.

Every pending change lands in Proposals, sorted by what can move your results the most. Each one explains the change and why. You press Apply or Discard.

What should I do next?

Ask the IQ chat to review your campaigns. It ranks the most important actions across your account, each with the campaign, the platform, the last seven days' numbers and a button that opens the task. You can also ask what is waiting for your approval and which accounts are connected. These questions are free.

A simple routine: every day, glance at the Daily summary; every week, open Analytics; every month, ask "How's my month?" and plan the next one with the monthly check-in, whose cost is shown before you approve it.

Steps

  1. Know what you pay for. Credits pay for what CustomIQ generates; your ad budget is billed by the ad platform. Every action shows its cost first.
  2. Check your balance. In Billing and credits see your balance, top up, change plan and download invoices.
  3. Read your month. Check the Daily summary in Campaigns, or ask the IQ chat "How's my month?" for free.
  4. Open Analytics weekly. See content, funnel, website and SEO results, each compared with the previous period.
  5. Decide on proposals. In Proposals press Apply or Discard for each change the agent suggests; nothing is applied on its own.
  6. Ask for a review. Ask the IQ chat to review your campaigns and follow the button of each ranked action.

Frequently asked questions

Do credits pay for my ads?
No. Your ad budget is charged in your Meta, Google, TikTok or LinkedIn account. Credits pay for what CustomIQ creates and manages.
What happens if I run out of credits halfway through?
The IQ chat shows a card with your balance, the amount needed and the shortfall, and waits. Top up in Billing and credits and it continues from the same step.
Does asking about my results cost credits?
No. "How's my month?" and the account review in the IQ chat are free. Optimizing a campaign uses credits and shows the cost before it starts.
Will the agent change my campaigns on its own?
No. Every proposal waits in Proposals until you press Apply; Discard drops it.
