Check in the IQ chat what's wrong in your Meta Ads account
Updated 2026-10-19
In CustomIQ type in the IQ chat "Why isn't my ad running?", "Who changed my budget?", "Is my pixel working?" or "Why aren't my products showing?". The chat reads your Meta account and gives you Meta's reason, who made each change, each pixel event's match quality or your catalog's problems, free of charge.
What does the IQ chat check in your Meta Ads account?
The CustomIQ IQ chat reads your Meta account and answers seven questions, free. Type them in the IQ chat.
- Why an ad isn't running: ads, ad sets or campaigns that are rejected, have issues, are in review or lack a payment method, with Meta's reason. A pause made by you or by CustomIQ isn't a problem: the chat says it apart and offers to resume.
- Who changed what: the account's latest changes and who made them: CustomIQ, Meta automatically, or a person in Ads Manager, with the CustomIQ campaign's name.
- How Meta rates each ad: quality, engagement and conversion against the average, worst to best. Meta needs about 500 impressions per ad.
- Whether your pixel works: when it last received an event and each event's match quality, from 0 to 10. If Meta hasn't computed it yet or won't share it with your connection, the chat says so.
- Why your products aren't showing: the problems Meta flags in your catalog, must-fix first, with how many products they affect.
- What your competitors run: what your Meta campaign's last research stored, in your language and with its date: each competitor, what they all repeat and the gaps nobody covers.
- Meta's score: in the review "What should I do with my ads?", the Opportunity Score from 0 to 100 and up to 3 recommendations.
Does the IQ chat apply Meta's recommendations?
No. Each change has its own task in the chat, with its confirmation, or you make it in Ads Manager.
Why isn't the amount of a budget change shown?
Meta doesn't give the currency in the change history, so the chat says the budget changed without showing a figure that might be wrong.
Where do your competitors' ads come from?
They're collected when CustomIQ researches one of your Meta campaigns, when it's created or when you ask to "Refresh the research". The chat doesn't search again: it shows what that research last saved, which is why it's free.
- Who is searched: the competitors in your brand profile. If there are none, or they have few ads, it searches ads in your category using your product, goal or segment name.
- Where: in Meta's Ad Library, the public record of active ads, in your segment's country. It collects each ad's text and its images or videos.
- How it's summarised: CustomIQ's AI reads those ads together with your brand and segment and notes, for each competitor, its angles, hooks, offers and formats, and across all of them, what they repeat and the gaps nobody covers.
- Where it's kept: in your campaign's strategy, with the date. It's also used to propose that campaign's creative ideas and copy.
Ads your competitors launched later don't appear until you refresh the research, which is paid and tells you its cost before you confirm.
Steps
- Ask in the IQ chat. Type "Why isn't my ad running?", "Who changed my budget?", "Which ad is worst?" or "Is my pixel working?".
- Name a campaign if you like. Without a name, the chat checks all your published Meta campaigns; with one, only that campaign.
