AI Visibility (GEO): know whether ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity cite your site

Updated 2026-10-19

In CustomIQ the "AI Visibility" tab of Analytics shows, per SEO campaign, the share of answers in which each AI engine cites your site for the campaign's questions. Open Analytics, pick the SEO campaign, read the report and launch a probe from the tab's button; the estimated cost appears first and the real cost is deducted when it finishes.

What is CustomIQ AI Visibility?

It is the GEO report in the "AI Visibility" tab of Analytics: for the approved questions of your SEO campaign, it measures the share of answers in which each AI engine cites your site. Each engine has its own column, never an average, and branded questions are shown separately because they always return you.

What do I do from the dashboard?

Open Analytics, enter "AI Visibility" and choose the SEO campaign. You see the per-engine report and the button to launch a new probe. Before confirming, the estimated cost and the month's remaining budget appear; when it finishes, the tab refreshes and the real measured cost is deducted from your balance.

A dash in a cell means there are not enough samples yet. A missing engine means it was never asked, and the report states why.

Can I request it in the chat?

Today the probe is launched from the Analytics tab, not from the IQ chat. The SEO campaign it belongs to is still tracked from Campaigns.

What do I need first?

An SEO campaign in your account with approved customer questions: the report is computed over them.

What does it cost?

Each probe spends credits. The tab shows the estimate before launching, warns when it is rough because there is no cost history, and charges the real measured cost when it finishes.

Steps

  1. Open Analytics. Go to Analytics and choose the "AI Visibility" tab.
  2. Pick the SEO campaign. Select the SEO campaign whose questions you want to measure; the report is per campaign, not per date range.
  3. Read the report. Each AI engine has its own column; a dash means too few samples, not zero citations.
  4. Launch a probe. Press the probe button; you see the estimated cost and the month's remaining budget before confirming.
  5. Come back when it finishes. The tab refreshes by itself when done and the real measured cost is deducted.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the report have no date filter?
Because it measures a fixed set of questions from the SEO campaign; a date range would describe a slice that does not exist.
What does a dash instead of a percentage mean?
That there are not enough samples yet for that engine; it does not mean you are never cited.
Can I see AI Visibility without an SEO campaign?
No. The report is computed over the approved questions of an SEO campaign, so you need one in your account.
