Do ChatGPT and Gemini cite your business? Measure your AI visibility in CustomIQ

1:34 · Published 2026-10-18

In CustomIQ the "AI Visibility" tab of Analytics shows, per SEO campaign, the share of answers in which each AI engine cites your site for the campaign's questions. Open Analytics, pick the SEO campaign, read the report and launch a probe from the tab's button; the estimated cost appears first and the real cost is deducted when it finishes.

0:00Introduction

In this tutorial you'll see whether AI assistants like Gemini or ChatGPT cite your business when people ask them about what you sell, and how to measure it again. In Analytics, open the AI visibility tab. Choose an SEO campaign. The measurement runs against that campaign's approved questions, not over a date range.

0:25Reading the report

Each AI engine gets its own card. They're different search engines, so they're never averaged together. With a link is how often the answer cites you with a link to your site. Mentioned only is when it names you without a link.

0:40Questions and who they cite

Below, every measured question, worst first. These are the ones no assistant is crediting you with yet. And here, who the assistants cite instead of you. Those are the sites your content has to beat. If a cell shows a dash, there were too few samples to tell. It doesn't mean zero.

1:01Measure again

To measure again, you see how many queries it will run and the estimated cost, plus the budget left this month. Press Measure. You confirm before anything runs. The real measured cost is deducted when it finishes. As this is a demo, we cancel, and nothing is charged. When a measurement finishes, the tab refreshes on its own. Measure again after publishing new content to see whether the assistants start citing you.
