0:00Welcome

Welcome to Capture leads on autopilot. In the next quarter of an hour you'll build the whole path a lead follows in CustomIQ, from the first visit to your first reply. This session is for you if you're new to CustomIQ and want more leads with less manual work. You only need a segment and a few minutes. Here's the plan. You'll build a landing, find the leads it captures, nurture them with a sequence and a workflow per stage, get an alert for every new lead, and answer on WhatsApp.

0:34How the lead machine works

First, the big picture. A visitor fills in your landing's form and becomes a lead in your segment. A sequence follows up, an alert tells you, and you reply. And you stay in charge. Nothing reaches a lead until you launch the sequence or approve the reply. Everything hangs on a segment. The landing's form fills it, sequences write to it, and its alerts decide who on your team hears about each lead.

1:02What costs credits

A quick word on cost. Creating things uses credits, like generating a landing or writing the emails of a sequence, and you always see the cost before you confirm. Your contacts and your alerts are free. Importing, browsing, exporting and alerting spend no credits.

1:221. Build your landing

Let's start. Step one, build your landing. There are two ways. Ask the IQ chat in plain words, and nothing is created or charged until you confirm. Or use the Landing generator in Studio, which is the one you'll see now. In this tutorial you'll create a landing page, edit it in your own words and publish it. We're in the Landing generator, in Studio.

First, the segment the page is for. The agent uses its research to choose the angle and the arguments. You can link it to a campaign so the messaging matches it, and reuse the campaign's images at no extra cost. It's optional. Pick your brand profile, so the page uses your logo, colors, fonts and brand guidelines. If you want, paste competitor pages here.

The agent studies them to stand out. Choose how many new images to generate. Images that already exist are reused for free. The button shows the total in credits before you generate. Click Generate. The agent studies your segment, designs the strategy, writes the page in your brand style and checks its own quality until it passes. It takes a few minutes.

Done. The new landing appears first, as a draft with its quality score. Open it with Preview and Edit. This is the page exactly as visitors will see it, with the lead form connected to your segment. Here you see what the page cost, the base plus each new image. Images reused from a campaign are free. If you have your own domain, you can serve the landing from it here.

With Social networks you turn this landing into posts for your connected accounts. And in Owner notes you tell the AI what to do differently on your next landings. They become rules for your brand. To change something, describe it in the AI editor in your own words. And send it. The agent applies the change and keeps every version, so you can go back at any time.

You can publish it on your CustomIQ address or as a page of your connected WordPress site, even placing it in your menu. We'll publish it right away on our CustomIQ address. It's live. If you link it to a campaign, its ads point to this landing before any other address. Back in Landings, this button shows the leads each landing has captured. They go into its segment, and you can set up an alert for every new lead.

That's it. Your landing is designed, edited and published, ready to receive traffic from your ads, your emails and your posts.

4:212. Find your leads

Step two, find your leads. Once your landing is live, every lead it captures lands in its segment. And landings are just one door. Leads also arrive from lead forms, inbox conversations, and the contacts you import yourself. They all end up in one list. In this tutorial you'll bring your contacts into CustomIQ, find any lead, and export them. Contacts live in segments.

Open Audience and Catalog, Segments. To import, press the import icon on the segment they belong to. You can add one person by hand, with name, email and phone. Or upload a CSV. Download the template to see the columns it expects. Choose your file. Before anything is saved, you see a preview with every row checked. Invalid emails and duplicates are flagged.

Turn this on if they've already bought from you, so they're imported as customers. Then press Import to add them to the segment. As this is a demo, we cancel. Now open the Contacts tab. It lists every lead and customer from all your channels. At the top, your totals. Filter by segment, landing page, source or date. Or search by name, email or phone.

Each row shows the contact's segment, where they came from, and their status. Click the badge to switch someone between lead and customer. Open a contact to see their profile. Here you see their details, history and status, all in one place. And Download CSV exports the list, or only the rows you select. Import once, and every campaign, email sequence and alert can use these contacts.

6:193. Nurture with a sequence

Step three, nurture. Most leads aren't ready on day one, so a sequence keeps in touch for you, in your brand voice. You ask for it in the chat and get a proposal. When you approve it, the emails are written and saved as a draft. Then you review it and launch it yourself. In this tutorial you'll create an automated email sequence for one specific part of your segment: qualified leads.

It's all done from the IQ chat. Start a new conversation. And ask for the sequence in your own words. If you already say who it's for, the chat takes that into account. The chat asks which segment it's for. We answer with its name. Since we asked for qualified leads only, the audience is already set, with the contacts who match it right now. Next, describe the flow.

Say which messages each contact gets and how many days apart. No special format needed. Here's the proposal: the steps, the channels, the days and how many contacts would enter. Nothing has been generated or charged yet. This is where you confirm the audience. Before every send, the contact is checked again to make sure they're still a qualified lead.

If it looks right, approve it. The agent writes the emails in your brand voice and saves the sequence as a draft. The writing is charged to your credits. Once the emails are written, the sequence is saved as a draft in Sequences. Nothing is sent until you review it and launch it yourself. Open it to review it. At the top you have the audience and how many contacts match it right now.

With Edit audience you can change the criteria or hand-pick contacts before launching. Below, each email in the sequence with its subject and content, in the order they'll be sent. If you want to change something, ask the AI for changes in your own words, email by email. When everything looks good, Approve and launch enrolls the contacts and starts sending.

We'll leave it here, as a draft. Done. You now know how to create an email sequence for the part of your segment you care about, review it, and launch it whenever you're ready.

8:563b. A workflow per stage

You can go one step further. Each stage of your leads can have its own workflow. Leads join and leave on their own as their stage changes. In this tutorial you'll see lead-stage workflows, where each stage of your leads gets its own automatic follow-up. In Sequences there's one workflow per stage, new, qualified, sales qualified and unqualified. The audience is the stage itself.

When a lead reaches a stage, they join its workflow automatically, and leave it when the stage changes. Open one to see how it works. This one is still a draft, so nobody is enrolled until you review it and launch it. Each step is a message the agent writes for that contact, around the service they came for, with a useful tip. Here the agent sends one of the segment's published articles, never the same one twice.

Then a sales message, and the workflow loops back, alternating articles and sales messages until the contact replies, unsubscribes or changes stage. The agents are in Agents. Open the agent behind the workflow. Its outcomes decide what happens after each conversation. The stage the lead moves to, and the alert you get, for example when a lead asks for a proposal or accepts it.

One workflow per stage, written by your agent for each lead. You review it, launch it, and it follows up for you.

10:334. New lead alerts

Step four, alerts. The sooner you answer a new lead, the better, so make sure the right person hears about it straight away. In this tutorial you'll set up new lead alerts, so the right people hear about every lead the moment it arrives. Alerts are set on each segment. In Segments, edit the segment. Scroll down to New lead alerts. They fire for leads from a landing page, a Meta form or the inbox.

Contact imports never trigger them. Turn on email alerts, and add who should get them. Each segment can notify different people. You can add several recipients. Alerts can also go to WhatsApp. Here WhatsApp isn't connected, so they arrive by email only. With WhatsApp agents, the same recipients also hear when a lead asks for a proposal or accepts it.

Save the changes. That's it. Every new lead in this segment now sends an alert, at no credit cost. Then check it works. Fill in the form on one of that segment's landings and confirm the email arrives. Contacts you import never trigger an alert.

11:465. Answer on WhatsApp

Step five, respond. When leads write to you on WhatsApp, CustomIQ's AI can draft the replies for you. You need two things first. A WhatsApp Business number connected to CustomIQ, and approved facts in your Knowledge Base, because that's where the AI gets its answers. In this tutorial you'll decide how much CustomIQ's AI can do on WhatsApp before you approve.

Open Settings, WhatsApp Assistant. The setting is per brand. Pick the brand here. In Manual, the AI is off and you answer every message yourself. Switch to Hybrid. Now the AI drafts every reply, using your approved Knowledge Base facts. Nothing is sent until you review and approve it. Auto, sending without review, isn't available yet. Some sectors, like health, always require your approval.

And in Hybrid, a draft that fails a compliance check is held for you. You'll find the drafts in your Inbox, ready to approve, edit or discard. We'll leave this brand on Manual for now. Start with Hybrid, check a few days of drafts, and keep your Knowledge Base up to date so every answer is accurate.

13:03Recap

Let's recap. Your landing is live, your leads are in one list, your sequence and stage workflows are ready to launch, your alerts are on, and WhatsApp drafts wait for you in Hybrid.

13:17Questions

Now, the questions we hear most often. Will a sequence email my leads without me? No. It's saved as a draft, and nothing is sent until you press Approve and launch. Can the AI answer WhatsApp on its own? Not yet. Auto isn't available. In Hybrid, every reply waits for your approval. What if a segment has no alert recipients? Your leads are still saved in CustomIQ, but nobody gets the alert email.

What if a lead changes stage in the middle of a workflow? They leave it and join the workflow for their new stage, within about fifteen minutes.

13:57Next steps

Where to go next. Every feature has a guide and a video in Help. Look up channel agents if you want an agent to talk to your leads by email. And when in doubt, ask the IQ chat. Thanks for watching. Now it's your turn. Publish your landing, switch on your alerts, and let your leads come to you.
