0:00Welcome
Welcome to Your brand, your face. In the next quarter of an hour you'll teach CustomIQ who you are, so everything it creates sounds, looks and even smiles like your business. This session is for you if you've just signed up. You'll need your website, your logo, and a few clear photos of yourself if you want to be the face of your brand. Here's the plan.
Five things you set up once. Your brand guide, your guardrails and look, your rules, your facts, and your face.
0:33What your AI reads first
Why bother? Because before CustomIQ writes a caption or makes a video, it reads all of this. Your guide, your rules, your facts and your face. And you still have the last word. These settings shape every draft, but nothing is published until you approve it. It all lives in four pages. Brand Profiles, Learnings, Knowledge Base, and Talents. You'll see each one in action today.
1:02What it costs
A quick word on cost. Editing your brand profile, your rules and your facts doesn't use any credits. Change them as often as you like. Creating a digital twin or an AI avatar has a one-off fee, charged from your credits. You see it before you press Save.
1:211. Your brand guide
Part one, your brand guide. It's the document every agent reads first: your tone, your colours, what you say and what you avoid. You don't have to write it. Give CustomIQ your website, and it drafts the guide for you. In this tutorial you'll create your brand guide in seconds, straight from your website. Your brands live in Settings, Brand Profiles.
Every piece of content CustomIQ makes follows one of them. Press New Brand Profile. Paste your website address. And press Extract. CustomIQ reads the site and fills in the brand name and tagline. Your tone of voice. Your colours and fonts. And the brand guidelines, how you talk and what you avoid, plus your value propositions. Check each field and adjust anything that isn't quite right.
Then press Create Profile. As this is a demo, we cancel. Once it's saved, edit it to add your logo, your sector, and settings like the brand face and visual mode. Every campaign, post and landing will follow it. Two tips. If your site has little text, complete the guide by hand. And if you run several brands, each one gets its own profile.
2:592. Guardrails and look
Part two, guardrails and look. Same brand profile, a few settings further down. You'll set three things. Guardrails, like competitors to learn from and websites to keep out. Your logo and visual mode. And your video look. In this tutorial you'll fine-tune your brand guide, the guardrails and the look every creative follows. In Brand Profiles, edit your brand.
Under Competitors, add up to five Instagram or TikTok accounts. CustomIQ analyses their recent posts to choose better topics for your organic content. The link policy controls which websites your AI content may link to or mention. Allow everything except a block list, or only allow the websites you list. Add a domain, and links to it are removed from captions, replies, articles and emails.
Turn on Logo on creatives, and your logo is added to every image, the first slide of carousels, and every scene of your videos. Visual mode decides how images are made. Photo uses AI photography. Typographic turns every image and carousel into text cards in your fonts and colours, with no photos or people. Video look is your visual personality in videos, from shape and type to motion, captions and pace.
Pick a style to start from. The preview shows exactly how your cards, graphics and captions will look. Confirm it when you like it. Client logos appear as social proof when a video edited as an ad mentions your clients. And reference ads teach the AI the editing style you like, its pace, typography and transitions, never the content. When you're done, press Update Profile.
As this is a demo, we cancel without saving. Set these once, and every ad, post and video CustomIQ makes looks and sounds like your brand. About visual mode. Besides Photo and Typographic, there's a third option, Photo plus brand text. The AI makes the photo, and CustomIQ sets your headline, website and logo on it.
5:283. Your rules: Learnings
Part three, your rules. Say something once, and every piece follows it. Most rules learn themselves. A note on a calendar card or feedback in the chat becomes a DO or AVOID rule, and every new piece follows it. Your rules even win over the video look. In this tutorial you'll set up your brand's rules, so every image, caption, video, ad and email CustomIQ creates follows them.
Open Settings, Learnings. Each rule is something the AI must do or avoid for this brand, and every generator follows the active ones. Each row is one rule, DO or AVOID, with how sure CustomIQ is about it. Applies to says which content the rule shapes, so an image rule never reaches your emails. Most rules are learned. Leave a note on a calendar card, or give feedback in the chat, and CustomIQ turns it into a rule.
Click the count to see where a rule came from. It shows the calendar note or chat message behind it. This one says you added it yourself. You can also write a rule yourself. Press Add rule. Choose what it applies to. This one is only for ads. Keep it as a DO rule. And write it as one clear sentence. Add it. It's active straight away. From now on, every new ad for this brand follows it.
If a rule stops making sense, retire it. Nothing is deleted. Show retired rules to find it again. And reactivate it whenever you want. When you edit a video with Smart Edit, CustomIQ may also propose rules here for you to confirm. Keep this list short and clear, and your content stays on brand without repeating yourself.
7:254. Your facts: Knowledge Base
Part four, your facts. This is how you make sure the AI never invents a price, an opening hour or a policy. It's easy to mix these up, so here's the difference. The brand guide is how you sound and look. Learnings are what to do and avoid. The Knowledge Base holds the facts the AI may quote. In this tutorial you'll add the facts CustomIQ's AI is allowed to use about your business, so it never makes up prices, hours or policies.
Open Settings, Knowledge Base. Facts belong to one brand. Pick it here. Each fact has a category, the text, and where it came from. Only approved facts are used. WhatsApp replies and recommendations use every approved fact. Public-safe facts are the only ones allowed in public replies, like answers to Google reviews. Leave it off for anything private.
If your brand profile already lists services or hours, import them from here. To add one by hand, press Add fact. Choose a category. This one is about pricing. Write the fact exactly as the AI may say it. Note where it comes from. Turn on Approved, so the AI may use it. And since it's fine to say in public, mark it Public-safe. Save it. Now it's in the list, and the AI can use it straight away.
With fewer than three approved facts, CustomIQ warns you that grounding is thin. Keep your prices, hours and policies here, and every AI answer stays accurate.
9:145. Your face: twin or avatar
Part five, your face. Who appears in your ads, posts and videos. With the right face, you don't need photo shoots, and your content still looks like it comes from you. You have three options for your Brand face. A digital twin of you. An AI avatar. Or Automatic, and each campaign picks its own talent. Let's start with the twin. In this tutorial you'll create your digital twin, and make it the face of every ad, post and video your brand publishes.
Open Audience and Catalog, Talents. These are the people who appear in your content. Press Add Influencer. Choose Digital Twin, a real person. An AI influencer, instead, is a person invented by AI. Give it your name. And pick the segment it speaks to. Leave Rates and Licensing off if the twin is only for your own brand. Turn it on if you want other brands to pay to use it.
Press Next. Choose the language it speaks. Its gender, so the voice matches. And turn on voice, so your twin can talk in videos. Now upload at least five photos of yourself. Use clear, well-lit photos, face visible, with different angles and outfits. The better the photos, the more your twin looks like you. Creating a twin has a one-off fee, charged from your credits.
Press Save, and CustomIQ starts building your twin. It takes a few minutes. You'll see it in your talents when it's ready. As this is a demo, we close without saving. Now make it your brand's face. In Brand Profiles, edit your brand. Find Brand face. And choose your twin. In this demo we use the CustomIQ influencer. From now on, every paid ad, organic post, carousel, video and landing image for this brand uses this face.
If the twin has no voice yet, CustomIQ tells you here. Press Update Profile to save it. Here we cancel, to keep the demo brand as it was. Your twin works for every campaign of this brand. Leave Brand face on Automatic if you'd rather let each campaign choose its own talent. Rather not be on camera? Use an AI avatar. Talents already has ready-made ones, free to use, or you can create your own.
In this tutorial you'll create an AI avatar, a presenter invented by AI that stars in your posts and videos, with no photo shoots. In Talents you'll find ready-made avatars, free to use, and the ones you create. To create your own, press Add Influencer. Choose AI Influencer. Give it a name. Pick the segment it speaks to, so it looks and talks like your audience.
Press Next. Describe how it should look and come across. Choose its language. Its gender, so the voice matches. And turn on voice, so it can talk in your videos. Creating an avatar has a one-off fee, charged from your credits. Press Save, and CustomIQ generates your avatar's photos and voice. As this is a demo, we close without saving. Once it's ready, choose it in any video, post or campaign, or make it your brand's face in your brand profile.
An AI avatar is perfect when you don't want to appear on camera yourself. If you do, create a digital twin instead.
13:17Recap
Let's recap. Your brand guide is created, your guardrails and look are set, your rules are in Learnings, your facts are approved, and you've chosen your brand face.
13:29Questions
Now, the questions we hear most often. Can I set this up in the chat? You set it up in the dashboard. Then the IQ chat applies it to everything it creates, and your feedback in the chat becomes new rules. Can other brands use my twin? Only if you turn on Rates and Licensing. Left off, your twin is private to you. Does using my twin cost extra? No.
You pay the one-off creation fee once, and using your own twin afterwards costs nothing extra. What if a rule stops making sense? Retire it in Learnings, and it stops applying straight away. Nothing is deleted, so you can bring it back.
14:11Next steps
Where to go next. Every feature has a guide and a video in Help. And to see it all working, ask the IQ chat for a post and look for your brand in it. Thanks for watching. Now open Brand Profiles, and make CustomIQ yours.
