In CustomIQ a campaign deleted in Meta Ads Manager shows as "Removed on Meta" in Campaigns after the two-hourly sync: its data stays read-only and it accepts no new creatives or optimizations. A campaign paused on Meta shows as "Paused" and can be resumed. After a deletion, type "Create an ad campaign on Meta." in the IQ chat.

In this tutorial you'll see what each campaign status means in CustomIQ, and what to do when a campaign shows as removed on Meta.

0:12Status filters

In Campaigns, the status filters tell you where every campaign is. Researching means the agent is still preparing the campaign. Needs review means it's waiting for you, for example to approve creatives or the budget. Ready to launch means everything is generated and you only have to deploy it. Active campaigns are live on the ad platform. And Failed means something went wrong.

0:40Removed on Meta

Removed on Meta means the campaign was deleted in Meta Ads Manager. CustomIQ detects it in the sync, which runs about every two hours. These are the campaigns it found. Let's open one. Its details stay visible, read only, so you keep what it achieved. But it no longer accepts new creatives or optimizations. To keep advertising, ask the IQ chat for a new campaign.

Close it.

1:10Paused campaigns

A campaign you pause on Meta is not removed. It shows as Paused, and you can resume it. Pause from CustomIQ or Meta whenever you need, and avoid deleting campaigns in Meta unless you are done with them.
