What will you learn in this webinar?

"CustomIQ from zero" is a pre-recorded CustomIQ webinar for people who have just signed up, or are about to. You don't need any marketing experience. In six steps it takes you from a brand-new account to your first ad campaign, ready to launch: the guided tour, setting up your business, connecting your accounts, your brand guide, your first Meta campaign, and reviewing and approving what it makes. Each step is a short slide introduction plus the real how-to demo.

How does CustomIQ work?

CustomIQ works like a marketing team for your business: it learns your brand, plans, creates your campaigns and content, and measures the results. You stay in charge: nothing is published and no budget is spent until you approve it.

You work in two places. In the IQ chat you ask for campaigns, landings or posts in plain words. The dashboard organises everything the chat creates: campaigns, Studio, Inbox and Calendar.

How do you pay for it?

Credits pay for what CustomIQ creates, such as research, images and videos, and every action shows its cost before it runs. Your ad budget is separate: Meta, Google or TikTok bill it straight to your ad account, and publishing costs nothing. On the Individual plan, launching a paid campaign also takes 5% of its monthly budget, in credits; the agency plans have no fee. Full guide: Credits and billing.

What happens the first time you sign in?

A short guided tour shows the chat, the switch to the dashboard, your credits and your account. You can replay it from Help. Full guide: Guided tour and video tips.

How do you set up your business?

A short wizard creates your audience, your brand and your offer in one go, and your welcome credits cover them. If you have no website, choose "Create one for me" and CustomIQ builds you a landing page. Full guide: The 3-step initial assistant.

Which accounts should you connect?

Connect once in Connections and CustomIQ publishes and measures everywhere. There are three kinds: social accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn) to publish your posts; ad accounts (Meta Ads, Google Ads) to launch your campaigns; and Google Analytics, so your visits and conversions show next to your campaigns. If a connection stops working, connect it again from the same page. Full guide: Connect Meta Ads to CustomIQ.

How do you build your brand guide?

Every ad, post and landing CustomIQ makes follows your brand guide: your tone, your colours, what you say and what you avoid. If you have a website, CustomIQ reads it and fills the guide in for you. Then make it yours in Brand profiles: add your logo, choose your sector and check the guidelines. The better your guide, the less you'll edit later. Full guide: Brand profiles and the brand guide.

How do you create your first Meta campaign in the chat?

Ask for it in the IQ chat, in plain words. A good request has four things: your goal (leads, sales, visits), the audience, the offer you're promoting and your monthly budget, which Meta bills. If something's missing, the strategist asks.

From there it goes step by step: a summary, a strategy, research into your competitors' ads, the creatives it proposes, and the launch. Two tips: remove the creatives you don't need before generating, so you only pay for the ones you keep; and remember that Deploy campaigns creates the campaign paused, so your budget only starts spending when you switch it on in Meta Ads Manager. Full guides: Create a Meta Ads campaign, and Approve the budget and deploy a Meta campaign.

How do you review and approve what CustomIQ creates?

Every piece waits for you. In the chat, the generated assets card shows each piece with its type and status: open it to view it full size, then approve it, regenerate it (which uses credits) or reject it. Nothing you reject is published. Every piece is also in the dashboard, and each campaign's creatives are in Campaigns. Full guide: Publish and schedule content.

Where do you go next?

Every feature has a step-by-step guide and a video in Help. And when in doubt, just ask the IQ chat.

Steps

  1. Take the guided tour. The first time you sign in, a short tour shows the chat, the switch to the dashboard, your credits and your account.
  2. Set up your business. In the three-step wizard describe your audience, your brand and your offer, then press Create my plan.
  3. Connect your accounts. In Connections add your social accounts, your ad accounts such as Meta Ads, and Google Analytics.
  4. Build your brand guide. Let CustomIQ read your website, then add your logo and sector and check the guidelines.
  5. Create your first Meta campaign. Ask in the IQ chat with your goal, audience, offer and monthly budget; remove creatives you don't need before generating.
  6. Review and approve. Open each piece, regenerate or reject what doesn't fit and approve the rest; nothing goes out without you.

Frequently asked questions

Does CustomIQ charge my ad spend?
No. Meta, Google or TikTok bill your ad budget directly. CustomIQ uses credits for what it creates.
Can anything go live without me?
No. Posts, ads and emails wait for your approval, and campaigns are created paused, so they only spend when you switch them on.
I don't have a website. Can I still start?
Yes. In the setup wizard choose "Create one for me" and CustomIQ builds you a landing page.
What if I don't like the plan?
Press Request changes, or tell the chat what to change, as many times as you like.
